About Me
After 27 interesting and heartwarming years of teaching private art students in my studio in Willimantic, CT,
I retired and moved back to California in 2012. I was eager to finally be able to paint full time but my many years ganged up on me. Now, thanks to my family, several fine doctors, and a generous artist who invited me to paint plein air again, I'm back at my easel.
It's an often repeated truism that a teacher learns as much from the students as the students do, and, of course,
it is true. Thank you all so very much. I meant to write to you immediately, but we all know how that turned
